Elicasal Ointment Reducing Inflammation, Itching and Redness of the Skin 30gm Ointment Betamethasone Dipropionate 0.05% w/w Salicylic Acid 3% w/w

What is betamethasone dipropionate/ salicylic acid and what is it used for:

  • This product consists of two active ingredients; Betamethasone dipropionate and salicylic acid.
  • Betamethasone dipropionate belongs to a class of medicines known as "topical corticosteroids" that work to reduce inflammation, itching, and redness of the skin.
  • Salicylic acid is a medication that works by softening the top layer of scales on the surface of the skin, allowing betamethasone dipropionate to reach the affected skin area below the scales to aid in the recovery of the diseased skin. This product is used to treat adults and children with skin problems that include a layer of scales covering the affected skin.
  • This product will help reduce itching and redness in your skin and remove the scales.
